Asian traditional "Susani" are "carpets" embroidered in a special techique on cotton fabric. Almost the whole area is embroidered. In Central Asia they were out onto the walls, like paintings. The artists include small irregularities in the ornament, to save the house of the owner from daemonst and bad influence. People say, the daemons will stumble across the "mistakes" and stay there forever, trying to find what's wrong.

The making of every Susani takes many months, sometimes years.
